The State of Montana Fall Public Auction is scheduled for September 26, 2009. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
The auction will be held at the Surplus storage facility located at 5 West Custer, next to the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds.

ON-LINE SURPLUS AUCTION
State surplus property is available for purchase via an on-line service. Interested citizens can go to the State's surplus on-line auction site to view and participate in an on-line auction of State surplus property once they are registered. State surplus property including SUVs, vans, cars, pickups, trailers, miscellaneous items and heavy equipment will be listed on this site. Items will continuously be added to the auction site as they become available.
To use this on-line auction site, interested citizens should go to this site, register as a user, then browse to the Montana region and select items under the "State of Montana Property and Supply Bureau." Buyers are responsible for pick-up or shipping of all purchased items.
MONTHLY GARAGE SALES
The public can still attend monthly "garage sales" of State surplus property held in Helena on the second Friday of every month (8 a.m. to 12 noon). Items not listed on the on-line auction site, including office equipment and furniture, vehicles, clothing and miscellaneous items, will be available at the garage sale.
